Nursing Assistant Program

Nursing Assistants spend the most time with residents than any other healthcare team member

Nursing Assistant Program  (7.7) Credits

The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides basic needs for residents while maintaining responsibility of reporting observations to a licensed nurse in varied work settings. These work settings include but are not limited to: long–term care facilities, acute care and/or home health care.  Upon successful completion of the NA course students will have a certificate of NA course completion, a Healthcare Providers CPR card and a HIV/AIDS 7 hour training certificate.  Students may then test for the Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation (NACES) exam and apply for state licensure.

The Nursing Assistant Course is offered in Walla Walla and Clarkston.
